Two Exciting Workshops Added!

critical care transesophageal echocardiography

We have added two hands-on workshops, but space is limited. The first runs Friday, September 10 from noon to 15:00 and the second on Saturday, September 11 from 09:00 to 12:00.

Critical Care Transesophageal Echo: TEE for the general intensivist

Once regarded as a tool only for the CV ICU, TEE is now used more and more in the general ICU for its reliability, image clarity and ease of imaging. As critical care echo becomes the main way intensivists diagnose and manage shock states, TEE offers many advantages over TTE and is an evolving tool in the intensivist’s tool kit. In this unique hands-on workshop, with high-fidelity simulators, image interpretation sessions using real cases and lectures from leaders in this growing field, participants will work through both the cognitive and procedural sides of critical care TEE for the general ICU patient.

Pre-registration is required.
